SleapKosh 2027 runs Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 July. Same pre-pitched tent, three lengths of stay. Prices below are the "from" for an unfurnished tent; add beds and bedding at the booking step.
Saturday night only
Fly in Saturday for the main airshow and the evening party. Gone Sunday.
Friday + Saturday
The classic. Both evening displays, both parties, both airshows.
Whole weekend
Fly in Thursday and be pitched before arrivals open at 10:00 Friday.
Pick your nights at the booking step. Saturday is the busiest night, so shorter stays are limited and priced per night rather than pro-rata.

Aircraft arrivals open 10:00 Friday, reopening 09:00 Saturday. On the whole-weekend option you fly in Thursday and are pitched before it all starts.

Facilities
Toilets on-site throughout the event. Check the official SleapKosh site for the latest on showers and water points for 2027.
What to bring
Warm layer for the evenings, power bank, torch. Bedding only if you didn't add it to your booking - we handle the rest.
Late nights
Evening airshow and pyrotechnics Friday from 21:00, live music and the bar running late. Your bed is a two-minute walk from all of it.

Common questions about staying at SleapKosh

Are beds, bedding and towels included? +
No. The tent price buys the tent, pitched and waiting before you arrive, plus the styling on Luxury. Beds, bedding and towels are add-ons you choose in the booking: single airbed £15, double airbed £20, memory foam single mattress £30, bed frame £15, bedding set £20 per bed (double £40, king £40), towel pack £15 per person. Pick only what you want, or bring your own.

Can I book just Saturday night? +
Yes, new for 2027. You can book Saturday night only, Friday and Saturday, or the whole weekend from Thursday. Pick your nights at the booking step. Saturday-only is ideal if you are flying in for the main airshow and evening party and heading home Sunday.

What does the whole-weekend option get me? +
The Thursday night on top of Friday and Saturday. You fly in Thursday and are pitched and settled before aircraft arrivals open at 10:00 Friday, so you skip the arrivals queue and get the pick of the site.

Where is SleapKosh 2027 held? +
Sleap Airfield, near Wem, Shropshire, SY4 3HE, home of Shropshire Aero Club. The 2027 event runs Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 July.

Do I need to fly in to attend? +
SleapKosh is a fly-in event for aircraft arrivals and their passengers, plus Shropshire Aero Club members and their guests. It is not a public ticketed festival. Sort your attendance with the club first, then book your tent with us.

How close is the tent to my aircraft and the airshow? +
The glamping area is on the airfield, a short walk from the display line, trade stands and beer tent. You are inside the event, not parked off-site.

Can 4 of us share one tent? +
Yes. Each 5m tent sleeps up to 4, which brings the cost down to around £65 to £75pp for the weekend depending on package. The 7m XL sleeps up to 6. Strict limits for safety.

Can a couple share? +
Absolutely. Two memory foam mattresses push together to make a king-size bed. Add a king bedding set and it is made up before you arrive.

Is there power in the tents? +
No mains power in the bell tents. Each has a battery camping light. Bring a power bank for phones, or ask us about an electric hookup if you need one.

What time is check-in and check-out? +
Check-in: any time after arrivals open on your first day. Your tent is pitched and waiting, find your name on the village welcome board. Check-out: 11am Sunday. We pack down from there.

What if it rains? +
These tents have stood up to a lot. Integrated groundsheets, sealed seams. We have never had a guest rained on inside one.

Is it cold at night? +
July is usually fine. Bedding sets include a duvet and the tents zip fully shut. Cold sleeper? Add a memory foam mattress and a bedding set and you will be warmer than anyone sleeping in their aircraft.

Can I bring a dog? +
Pets in our bell tents need prior written consent. Email [email protected] and we will sort it, subject to the club's own policy for the airfield.

What if I need to cancel? +
Full refund if you cancel 14 or more days before the event. No refund inside 14 days. Full terms come with your booking confirmation.

What if SleapKosh is cancelled? +
Full refund or transfer to another event.

When do bookings close? +
Friday 2 July 2027, 6 days before the fly-in. Tents often sell out before that, 74 went in 2026.
