Why stay on-site?

Bell tent village together in an open field at a wedding

Stumble to bed, don't fight over an Uber

The night ends when the night ends, not when someone's cab arrives.

Close to the party

Walk back to your tent, not a late-night drive away from everyone.

Everyone in one place

West Benridge Farm is a trek for a lot of people. Staying on-site means nobody has to leave early to catch a lift.

The morning after counts

Everyone who stayed is still there at breakfast. That is usually the bit people remember.

Guest reviews

What past wedding guests say about glamping

★★★★★

"Staying meant I actually saw the bride and groom at breakfast. Different wedding entirely."

SamTGG wedding guest, 2024
★★★★★

"We looked across the madness - glow sticks littering the floor, empty glasses, most of the guests in bed. It was around 3am. Favourite moment of the whole wedding."

LeanneBell tent + tipi wedding, 2013
★★★★★

"So comfortable and cosy. I'll definitely be elbowing my partner to book again next year."

On-site logistics

Where you'll be

The tent village is pitched at West Benridge Farm, Morpeth, NE61 3RZ, the same site as the wedding.

One night

The night of Saturday 12 June, checking out on the Sunday morning.

Bag drop

Drop your bags before the party and head straight in. Your tent is pitched and waiting.

Phones + warmth

No power in individual tents, so bring a power bank. Mid-June is usually mild in Northumberland, but it can cool after dark. Bedding sets include a duvet and pillow, and the tents zip fully shut.

Common questions about staying for the wedding

  • Are beds, bedding and towels included? +

No. The tent price buys the tent, pitched and waiting before you arrive, plus the styling on Luxury. Beds, bedding and towels are add-ons you choose in the booking: single airbed £5, double airbed £10, memory foam single mattress £25, bed frame £15, bedding set £20 per bed (double £40, king £50), towel pack £15 per person. Pick only what you want, or bring your own.

  • How many nights is this? +

One. The wedding night of Saturday 12 June 2027, checking out on the Sunday morning.

  • How far is the tent from the wedding? +

The tents are pitched at West Benridge Farm, the same site as the wedding, so you are walking back to your tent rather than driving.

  • Can a couple share a tent? +

Yes. Two memory foam mattresses can be pushed together to make a king-size at no extra charge. Basic for two with real beds and bedding = £285 total.

  • Can 4 friends share? +

Yes, and it brings the cost down to ~£101pp for a Basic tent with real beds and bedding. Each 5m tent sleeps up to 4 (strict limit).

  • Bringing kids? +

Families are welcome. Adults can have memory foam mattresses and children can have air mattresses if you want to keep the tent flexible. A 5m tent sleeps up to 4.

Show all 15 questions
  • Never glamped before? +

Think of it as a pop-up bedroom, not camping. Your tent is pitched and waiting, zipped and weatherproof, with bag drop on arrival and someone to show you where everything is. Beds, bedding and towels are add-ons you choose in the booking, so bring your own or have it all made up before you arrive. You don't pitch, pack or carry anything.

  • What if it rains? +

Integrated groundsheets, sealed seams. We've never had a guest get rained on inside one.

  • Is it cold at night? +

Mid-June is usually mild in Northumberland, but it can cool after dark. Bedding sets include a duvet and pillow, and the tents zip fully shut. Bring a jumper for sitting outside late.

  • Is there power / phone charging? +

No power in individual tents, so bring a power bank.

  • Is it secure overnight? +

Your tent zips and toggles shut from the inside, and the village is pitched as a group rather than scattered.

  • What do I need to bring? +

Wedding outfit, toiletries, phone charger and power bank, and a jumper for after dark. Bedding and towels can be added to your booking if you do not want to bring your own.

  • What if I need to cancel? +

Full refund if you cancel 14+ days before the wedding. Inside 14 days your spot is locked in - if anything changes, message us and we'll do what we can.

  • When do bookings close? +

There is no published cut-off for this wedding. Tents are limited and pitching happens before the day, so book as early as you can.

  • What time can I arrive or leave? +

Arrival, bag-drop and check-out timings are still being confirmed with the venue and will be sent to everyone who has booked.
